Cambrian Golf Society

About Us

The Cambrian golf society formerly the Royal Exchange golf society

was formed in 2005, when regulars decided to have a game of golf

once a month and this developed in the society we have today.

The courses played are mainly local and play on the 3rd or 4th Friday

of every month from March through to September, with an end of 

season game at a championship course & overnight stay!

Organized society with a committee and a chairman, vice chairman,

captain, vice captain, treasurer, secretary, handicap secretary and

master of ceremony, regular meeting to discuss forth coming games helps

keep the society alive.

Prizes and fines every game to keep a competitive edge, but

all light hearted fun to enjoy the game of golf.

Prizes for 1st, nearest the pin, longest drive plus the coveted

"blue jacket"

Fines:

• Not getting out the bunker on first shot

• Not driving past the ladies tee

• Club abuse
